13 year locally owned and operated high volume automotive shop looking for knowledgeable and motivated individuals to fill open positions. We need an experienced service writer/service manager with sales skills.

Must be a team player and able to work with technicians in order to sell jobs and order proper parts for repairs. Must have a working knowledge of the automotive repair business and be able to quote jobs accurately. Must have great customer skills and be able to communicate the repairs needed. The primary job of this position is selling customers the needed and recommended services.

Primary Duties:

Scheduling appointments, answering phones, greet customers in a friendly manner, check in night drop vehicles, process warranty labor claims with part suppliers, track vendor returns for credit issued, address customer concerns and document info for technicians, maintain strong customer satisfaction. Advise customers on repairs and maintenance according to technician findings, assign diagnostics and approve repairs to the appropriate technician, create estimates and present info to vehicle owners for approval, order parts on approved jobs, manage technician and bay schedules for efficiency.
