POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Junior Accountant will take on a major role in the day to day accounting and finance operations at Superblue. Working closely with the Accounting Manager, the Group Controller, and the Head of Finance and the larger team, the Junior Accountant will utilize hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of FP&A and GAAP to assist on all things accounting & finance across the organization.

MAIN RESPONSBILITIES
Cyclical Accounting Close: Month-end, Quarter-end, Year-end close
Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Balance Sheet reconciliations with related schedules,
G/L Maintenance and analysis
Cost control & expense system management
Records organization and management
Regulatory compliance
Corporation, Sales & Use Tax & related
KEY CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
3+ years of accounting experience
Good technical accounting skills (knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS).
Experience with QuickBooks accounting packages and ERP systems, e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, Dynamics 365, or similar
Exceptional Excel skills
Art industry or related events & entertainment industry experience is a plus
Experience with ArtLogic, Artbase or similar object database systems is a plus.
