Sustainable Talent is seeking an Autonomous Driving Operations Shift Manager for the Autonomous Vehicle testing operations team supporting Nvidia. This is a key role to support the AV software development. Together with OEM partners we are bringing safety to streets at a large scale. This is a W-2 full-time onsite contract position based in Santa Clara, CA. Pay is flexible based on experience with full benefits and opportunity for permanent employment with the company.
What you will be doing:
- Planning & execution: Work on planning cycle- collect and understand requirements, work closely with the developer’s team on feature delivery and testing schedule, plan resources, hire and train testing crew.
- In-car testing execution: plan, coordinate, and complete testing requirements in your region. Ensure smooth flow of operations, handle schedule, coordinate drivers and test operators.
- Drive process improvement: Build issue reports, deliver feedback, run execution risks, test new tool features. Own operational processes, build and track critical metrics.
- Report, track, and improve Fleet efficiency: lead the fleet efficiency across car, garage, people and execution. Drive it to the Speed of light. Own/ Raise and drive major gaps and failures through systemic improvements.
- Critical metrics & analytics: support the metric teams to Implementing, reporting, and analyzing E2E product metrics to understand the current state of our software and advise product priorities.
What we need to see:
- Experience in operations, multiple team coordination, exceptional communication and cross functional teamwork skills
- Execution driven, problem solver and “Buck stops with you” leadership
- Plus: Prior experience in autonomous operations teams and/or Triage/ Fast response teams
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience in automating workflows
