Position Overview:
This role is work from home eligible and candidate must live in one of the Sutter Approved States which are:
Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah
Supports employee relations activities and collective bargaining process by drafting and revising proposals, and gathering data for information requests, investigations, grievances, agency complaints and lawsuits. Manages the communication process for new or revised human resources (HR) policies, and other HR and payroll programs and processes. Coordinates the deployment of the employee opinion survey and ordering of temporary staff in the event of labor strikes.
Job Description:
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma: High School Diploma or General Education (GED) or equivalent education/experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
1 year in a general human resources or administrative/project support function.
1 year working with multiple processes and serving multiple customers.
1 year in a customer service or service delivery environment.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
General understanding of Human Resources functions.
Ability to read, comprehend, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Ability to learn and understand new processes or concepts quickly.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to research and resolve questionable data.
Organization skills and attention to details.
Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely.
Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
Ability to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
Ability to use essential applications and/or databases associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.
Ability to maintain and work with discreetly with confidential information.
