Join our HR Partnership & Solutions team as an intern. Work as part of a high performing, fast paced team and be exposed to many areas of HR. The Field Delivery team supports employees and managers in all departments at SVB in the areas on-boarding new hires, updating employee data, answering questions and managing employee relations.
Role would be part-time during school year and possible increased hours during summer break. Must be able to work at minimum of 4 hours every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and 20 hours per week in total. Prefer graduate intern but will consider Undergraduate.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
– Assist in on-boarding new hires by creating packages and entering data into Workday, our HR system.
– Facilitate new hire orientation with employees as the onboard to SVB, reviewing and verifying their paperwork, and providing general information about the company benefits and resources.
– Process employee changes in Workday.
– Assist managers in entering employee changes into Workday.
– Create new hire and termination packages.
– Create training materials & save employee information in ServiceNow digital storage system.
– Assist HR Representatives with general HR inquires.
– Special projects as assigned by Human Resources Business Partners.
