The Logistics Manager at SwagUp will play a critical role in managing all aspects of the customer experience related to shipping and receiving packages. This position involves overseeing carrier performance, ensuring seamless and compliant customs importation, and effectively communicating status updates to customers. The Logistics Manager will have significant visibility within the company, as the success of deliveries directly impacts customer satisfaction. Collaboration with various departments, including CX, Warehouse Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Finance, will be key to the success of this role.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of carrier relationships, including performance reviews, holiday planning, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with customs and duties regulations for outbound customer shipments.
• Report on carrier service levels and provide insights to the management team regarding performance, customer expectations, and potential issues.
• Optimize carrier selection and routing guide based on service levels and pricing.
• Identify and assess opportunities for implementing new logistics solutions, such as zone skipping.
• Verify accuracy of carrier invoicing and ensure that any credits or refunds due are promptly processed.
• Collaborate with the CX Team to optimize customer communications related to tracking shipments and providing status updates.
• Manage workflows for the CX team, including researching shipment status, troubleshooting issues, and handling requests for change of address or return to sender.
• Support the optimization of inbound shipments through the utilization of LTL or other consolidated services.

This role is instrumental in guiding the logistics processes and policies at SwagUp. By leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge, you will assess the current logistics framework and identify areas for improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish standardized procedures, compliance protocols, and performance metrics to measure and monitor the effectiveness of logistics activities. The Logistics Manager will collaborate with various departments, including CX, Warehouse Operations, and Product Management, to ensure alignment and coordination in developing new workflows, customer communications, and system capabilities. Additionally, you will leverage their experience with customs brokers and logistics consultants to develop cost-optimized and compliant solutions.

The Ideal Candidate Is Someone Who Has

• 6+ years of experience in the related field
• Experience working with high-growth e-commerce companies, either B2B or B2C.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing all aspects of parcel shipping, including carrier relationships.
• The ability to define performance targets, develop and distribute reports, and communicate insights to the management team.
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration with CX and product management teams to develop new workflows, customer communications, and system capabilities.
• Experience leveraging customs brokers and logistics consultants to develop cost-optimized and compliant solutions.

Salary Range: $100,000- $120,000
