Swickard Auto Group has a rare opening for a Pre-Owned Vehicle Merchandising Specialist to join our successful team. We are looking for someone who has a gift for creative writing, is customer focused, and has a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability and desire to grow our business

Responsibilities:

• Identity consumer trends within the automotive retail space
• Research market dynamics, digital search criteria and purchase trends
• Accurately input vehicle characteristics into vAuto and other inventory management systems
• Develop captivating and influential language that moves consumers to desire Swickard Auto Group vehicles
• Proactively track and search consumer influence metrics to measure success
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail vehicle network and changing consumer preferences within the overall used vehicle market

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Creative Writing or comparable field
• Proven experience in creative writing and/or consumer product merchandising
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels of leadership
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and balance multiple demands and time frames
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and handle stress in a calm and constructive manner
• Highly customer focused and solutions driven
