Job Summary
We are recruiting for Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for checking patients into and out of our clinic, directing patients to appropriate areas, making follow-up appointments and receiving payments.
Principal Duties:
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, answering phones, making appointments, and serving as a point of contact for general questions.
Additional duties:
Handle inbound calls; updating insurance, rescheduling appointment times, troubleshooting equipment issues, swap out equipment if needed, set up returns, provide ETA on technician, handle product request, schedule patients for service when needed
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Expected Hours of Work
Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. Employees must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
