Systec Hiring for Structured Cabling Sales/Estimator Job at Aurora, CO Full Time

Systec101 is looking for an experienced Structured Cabling Sales/Estimator to respond to RFPs and create relationships with project owner.

Must have a proven track record of designing and managing telecommunications projects consisting of installation of structured cabling, voice, video, and data communications systems. Size of projects will range from small IP Office systems to large distribution centers. The PM will follow up with project management principles to insure the project goals of time, cost, and quality needs and prepare proposals accordingly.

We will be providing access to lead portals for the you to get weakly leads. You’ll be contacting the project owners to obtain needed details to bid on the projects.

Desired Skills: 2-5 years experience. BICSI / RCDD certification preffered.
Management experience. Ability to handle multiple projects. Ability to read blue prints, scope of work & contract specs. Willing to travel as needed to attend to pre bid meetings and gather needed info to prepare proposals.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with new and existing customers to help define proposed projects.
• Develop and evaluate leads and recommend projects for bid.
• Perform in-depth review of plans, specifications and schedules to determine requirements. Calculates material and labor requirements.
• Compile all estimated costs, prepare, review with team and send quotes using established pricing guidelines.
• Continue to work with customer from start to finish on all aspects of project.
• Review approved projects to insure that scope of work specified in the contract is the same as what was bid. Suggests revision to contract language when appropriate.
• Expedite problem resolution, troubleshooting issues and providing customer support.
• Qualifications/Skills:
• Project estimation and/or direct sales in the telecommunications industry.
• Understanding of Structured Cabling, Telecommunications equipment, VOIP, Business phone systems and certification processes.
• Ability to read blue prints.
• Organization and scheduling skills — must meet deadlines in a fast pace environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent client service skills
• Demonstrated competence in achieving corporate business/sales goals.
• Microsoft office proficiency
• Ability to travel to and from job sites
• RCCD or equivalent

Job Type: Salary+%10 of project revenue.

Experience:

• Estimating: 3 years (Preferred)
• Communication systems sales and design.
• Impeccable English speaking and writing skills with perfect grammar is a MUST.

Pay: $4,000.00 – $10,000.00 per month

• Self-determined schedule
