POSITION SUMMARY:
This role will be responsible for supporting the following functional areas under the guidance of the human resources leader: onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, talent management, and policy implementation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support positive employee relations by promptly responding to calls from employees, answering questions and escalating issues/concerns to the head of HR.
· Assists in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.
· Create and maintain employee personnel files to ensure compliance.
· Draft employment letters for review and signature.
· Track employee changes and submit to payroll for processing.
· Reviews and responds to unemployment claims and verification of employment
· Process leaves of absence requests and disability paperwork
· Support benefits administration – answer employee benefit related questions. Kick off benefit enrollment for new hires and life qualifying events. Track any required forms for coverage approval. Assist with Annual Open Enrollment.
· Assist with all aspects of onboarding & offboardingensuring paperwork is completed and communicating with internal departments to coordinate all aspects.
· Assist with conducting employee surveys and analyzing the data.
· Help organize training and development initiatives.
· Other duties as assigned.
