Taylor Truck Line Inc. is based out of Northfield, MN and is looking for a skilled Transportation Operations Manager. Someone that is a leader, highly organized, and possesses a strong attention to detail. This role is vital to keep our team performing well and our drivers moving.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Coach and lead Operations staff in system use, general freight knowledge, and daily work improvements to enhance driver and customer satisfaction.
• Instill a culture of customer orientation, understanding the needs of customers and consistently delivering on those needs.
• Encourage development and change to ensure that team members are constantly engaged.
• Handle and resolve difficult and escalated issues as they arise.
• Handle training and stay on top of any changes in processes to be able to step in to operations roles whenever required.
• Develop and implement performance measures for both individuals and team members to track development and performance related to the improvement of customer experience and operational excellence.
• Participate in system development to improve functionality and system use.
• Provide coaching and feedback to professional drivers during the monthly review process, and employee reviews.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES-

· Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

· A positive attitude with the ability to multitask and motivate your team

· Exceptional leadership, communication and administrative skills

· Strong attention to details

· Problem solving skills

· Ability to handle confidential information

· Organized and strong follow up skills

· Comprehension of the English language

· 1 year of supervisory experience

· Knowledge of the industry a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
