Job Summary

This position is responsible for recruiting for SPX professional and technical positions of all levels. The incumbent acts as a point person to SPX HR team members and candidates. It will strategically partner with leaders across departments and divisions to build talent bench strength by sourcing external candidate pools for positions. The position will assist with recruiting duties such as sourcing resumes using a variety of methods, reviewing resumes and applications, communicating with candidates and hiring managers, conducting phone interviews, and facilitating intake and debrief sessions. This role may assume additional duties as assigned. The successful incumbent will be detail-oriented, handle confidential information in a sensitive manner, and work well with others. Additionally, the incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels throughout the organization.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS/SCOPE

• Strategic partner with business leaders for talent sourcing needs for assigned openings
• Conduct intake sessions
• Source resumes, conduct phone screens, offer letter creation
• Facilitate hiring decision processes
• Manage recruiting projects and initiatives

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field required
• 5+ years of prior recruiting of professional level positions required
• 2+ years of technical recruiting of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations positions preferred

CERTIFICATION/OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
• Strong attention to detail
• HR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of an HRIS/ATS system required
• Strong strategic resume sourcing skills required
• Knowledge of HR law (FMLA, FLSA, HIPAA, etc.) preferred
