The Full Stack Software Developer is a direct report and a critical member of the Chief Technology Officer’s (CTO’s) team. The key enterprise role is full-stack software development with focus on developing web applications for a wide variety of browser environments and devices and microservices.

Skills and Qualifications:

The Full Stack Software Developer job is composed of a variety of skills and qualifications, including tactical, operational and strategic activities in support of the company’s initiatives.

• Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as ReactJs, VueJS, jQuery and LESS
• Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming language including Java, Go and Python
• Database and cache: Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQLServer, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL and caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcache
• Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
• Server: Experience working with Nginx or Apache servers with a solid background in Linux

Requirements:

• A minimum of at least 3 years of Front-End development experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), full-stack development experience in a server-side language (Java, Go, Node.JS)
• Intermediate to strong background and hands-on experience in developing with JavaScript, CSS3, & HTML5 preferred
• Experience utilizing Bootstrap or other responsive frameworks as part of development efforts
• Familiarity with APIs and Web Services
• Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques – including development methodologies and best practices
• Intermediate to strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to web-based applications
• Results-oriented, product-focused ability to produce excellent work cross-functionally
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, project and application development teams, management and business personnel
• The ability to interact and build strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and work effectively with business managers, IT engineering and IT operations staff.
