Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Material Coordinator (Temporary) on a Government contract with a place of performance at El Paso TX.

Position Summary:

The Material Coordinator performs aspects of technical supply management work with specific retrograde responsibilities. Assignments will include the operation of military vehicles to transport retrograde materials to specific sites, the technical supply functions (e.g., inventory management, storage management, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply and property accountability activities. Will complete duties in accordance with local, state, federal laws and Army regulations. This work may require consideration of program requirements, together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.

Position Summary:

• A good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
• Required to comply with all SOPs and adhere to all Safety policies.
• Comply with environmental Laws/Regulations, comply with Army Regulations/Policies and, related to depot, local, or other supply activities.
• Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data, to establish the facts, and to take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.
• Prepares warehouse supply documents and maintains an automated supply system for accounting of all supplies and equipment.
• Inventory management: Responsible for inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment. Responsible for issue, receipt, and accountability of all warehouse items, to include sensitive items using GCSS-A (warehouse).
• Material coordination: Performs material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Duties are performed on the basis of practical experience in processing and expediting supply transactions related to the particular organizations serviced.
• Assists with the preparation and scheduling of transportation efforts of retrograded equipment.
• Maintains files with Army Record Information Management System (ARIMS).
• Must be able to perform additional duties as assigned.
• Responsible for the PMCS and maintenance reporting of assigned military vehicles.
• Responsible for dispatching required vehicles for SSA missions.
• Responsible for safely operating military vehicles to transport military cargo for warehouse functions.
• Selects and initiates proper transport equipment for various different cargo; classified, sensitive, over dimensional, required delivery date (RDD), priority, or other special requirements.
• Process all required documents for data input to Cargo Movement Operation System (CMOS) and assigns Transportation Control Numbers (TCNs) if needed.
• Compiles data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident for more than 3 years for CAC/ NACI eligibility
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background checks related to the position
• Valid state driver’s license
• Must be able to provide DA 348 reflecting experience in operating LHS, PLS, LMTV, HMMWV
• Valid CBL preferred
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be able to work in a team environment or alone, including working in hot, dusty, windy areas for prolong time periods.
• Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
• Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at a 10 feet above ground limit
• Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Desired Qualifications:

• Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of a 92A, 88M.
• Experience with Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW), Unique Item Tracking (UIT)
• Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary applicable data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon proven applications or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
• Well demonstrated knowledge to operate and perform required duties using GCSS-A and normally approved office computer automation equipment.
• An associate or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent military service schools graduations to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.
