PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Conducts Recruitment Strategy meetings with hiring managers to develop the hiring strategy for assigned openings with a focus on entry-level hiring.
2. Trains hiring managers on hiring processes and applicant tracking system, conducting web ex sessions and in-person training as needed
3. Reviews and submits resumes to hiring managers based on both minimum qualifications and Successful Hiring Profile
4. Utilizes the Internet as a primary vehicle for sourcing applicants, seeking out alternative resources for finding qualified applicants
5. Conducts initial phone interviews to assess job qualifications and overall fit of candidates; submit pre-qualified candidates to hiring managers
6. Participate in regular check-in/status update meetings with Associate Manager, Talent Acquisition or Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition
7. Participates in local networking events, career fairs, college recruiting, and company-sponsored hiring events
8. Counsels hiring managers on the candidate pool
9. Prepares and extends offers of employment after conferring with the hiring manager and HRBP
10. Complies with diversity recruitment practices, labor law requirements, and Affirmative Action guidelines.
11. Serves as backup for Talent Acquisition Coordinator as needed
12. Assists the Talent Acquisition staff with other related duties as assigned
13. Performs other duties as assigned Ok for the person to be remote, Eastern time preferred.
Qualifications–
Education:
Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources or Business preferred but not required. Experience: 2 years of recruitment experience required; minimum 1 year of corporate recruiting experience preferred.
Experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment required. Skills: Proven record of strong customer focus necessary.
Data analysis and report-building experience preferred.
Excellent oral, written, presentation, and organizational skills.PC proficiency in email systems (Lotus Notes or MS Outlook) and applicant tracking systems. Competencies:
