We currently have an opportunity for a Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics Manager in Mountain View, California.
Skillset / Experience:
Purchasing, Inventory, Logistics Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for logistics, purchasing, and inventory management/maintenance for Bay Area facility. You will interface with engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams, and collaborate to ensure the facility, builds, and launches can be executed seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
? Be responsible for hardware procurement to support hardware
development and manufacturing
? Manage day-to-day logistics, shipping/receiving at the facility
? Set up and maintain inventory infrastructure (physical and tracking processes)
? Support creation of part numbers and BOM management
? Set up a receiving process at new facilities and integration with inventory
management
? Prepare outbound shipments and track delivery to/from stakeholders
? Coordinate cross-functionally between commercial and technical teams
? Proactively identify, recommend, and implement new processes and systems for
material inventory and logistics management
Requirements:
? Inventory control management and logistics experience
? Experience communicating and working with distributors and suppliers in a
procurement function
? Detail-oriented and keen on documentation
? Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
? Self-motivated, creative, and proactive to drive tight schedules and work in
fast-paced environment
? Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years professional experience
? Proficiency with inventory management tools, spreadsheets, and best practices.
? Supply chain management experience is a plus
? Materials program management and clear-to-build experience is a plus
? Early-stage start-up experience is a plus.
