Our client is hiring an IT Project Manager to be responsible for Infrastructure Projects as part of our Technical Services organization. The Project Manager will manage complex IT infrastructure projects across technologies involving desktop, data center & cloud services, network and telecommunications, information security, IT service management, and related systems working with our outsourced service providers and internal teams.

The successful candidate will have a good technical background, experience working with both internal and service provider technical experts while also having strong project management skills. The PM will develop project budgets, timelines, milestones, and drive

deliverables.

As an IT Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Create project plan and associated artifacts, such as project schedules & activity plans, milestone plans, key performance measures, team and stakeholder communication plans, resource and time management, risk, issue and action management plans, stakeholder engagement and management plans including steering committee material preparation.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors and management.
• Actively manage key stakeholders and project commitments, escalations and communication.
• Ensure projects follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards as well as good governance practices.
• Identify and highlight risks and issues within the project and escalate appropriately.
• Devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies for projects to address risks and issues.
• Facilitate governance structure and processes to drive and manage the project(s) within.
• Manage implementation of project management methodology and governance tools.

• Are a strong IT project manager who thrives

working alongside infrastructure technologists, application leaders and service providers within a large IT organization to deliver results.

• Have strong communication skills; both orally and in writing, demonstrating an ability to communicate to a wide spectrum of

cross-functional team members.

• Have skills in financial management and budgeting, as well as procurement and contract negotiations across the project.
• Demonstrate strong group facilitation skills.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving and analytical skills. Solid ability to combine complex data from multiple sources

for analysis.

• Have strong ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks within expectations and balancing multiple priorities.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline OR 8 years relevant work experience as an equivalent.
• Three to five years’ experience working directly with infrastructure or cloud technologies and/or technical project management associated with them.
• Preferred certifications associated with this position include ITIL foundations, PMP, and Agile.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and other business-related software. Excel certification preferred.
• Ability to work with a virtual and remote international team
