Tenere is a full-scale contract manufacturer providing a range of services to small, mid-sized, and Fortune 100 companies seeking to fill a Staff Accountant position. This position will serve as a key member of the Finance team providing expertise, collaboration and communication to the Corporate Controller, as well as the Colorado plant organization. Tenere has operations in Wisconsin, Colorado and Monterrey, Mexico. Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or other field of study
· 2-4 Years experience working in a manufacturing plant, with plant side accounting experience (ie. Standard Costs, Manufacturing Variances, etc).
· Deep understanding of manufacturing operations.
· Effective communication to Finance leadership
· Collaboration expert with experience working with cross functional groups
· In depth knowledge of Finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
· Worked with Standard Costing Models

Job Summary
As part of Tenere’ s Finance organization, you will collaborate with the Operations, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance and Program Management to ensure the Colorado facility is poised for success from a reporting and compliance perspective. The role will support the Colorado team. This is a role for a high-energy individual who can function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with explosive growth.
Major Job Functions – other duties may be assigned:
· Prepares the financial statements for the Colorado plant
· Records all necessary journal entries to accurately close the books
· Analyze trends in sales and costs for the plant
· Provide reporting to cross functional business partners on performance vs. budget
· Prepare account reconciliations
· Executes to the company’s close calendar
· Contribute to the policies and procedures of the Finance organization
· Maintains cross functional team communication
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and/or procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and ERP Systems Experience
