A well-established, family-owned business in the HVAC industry, who works with wholesale distributors, government agencies, and contractors, is looking for a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their team! If you have experience managing shipping and receiving in a busy warehouse, and pride yourself on strong attention to detail, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity to continue to grow your career long-term with a small, tight-knit team. You will be responsible for the full-cycle shipping and receiving process, from scanning shipments into inventory to packing and sending out orders. This Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate position is a great role for someone who enjoys multi-tasking and has a knack for working autonomously.
Warehouse Shipping And Receiving Associate Job Duties
- Operating forklift
- Pulling inventory, scanning, packaging, packing slips, and shipping
- Receiving, scanning, and auditing packing slips for items received vs. items on PO, filing PO scan sheets with packing slips according to order status
- Determining whether product goes into inventory, gets shipped back out to customers or as branch transfer, or is warranty product
- Keeping a clean workspace, breaking down and recycling all boxes and cardboard, removing overstock of pallets and other old warehouse materials, yard maintenance
- Special projects as assigned including supporting sales team, ordering supplies, and administrative tasks
Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate Requirements:
- 2+ years in a shipping/receiving focused position
- Customer service experience
- Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly
- Forklift experience
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Basic computer and scanner skills
- Experience with hand/power tools is a plus!
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM
Pay: $26/hour
Location: Georgetown (Seattle, WA)
 Accessible by public transportation and on-site parking available
