GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for organizing and maintaining financial accounting systems general ledger, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, financial statements, and tax information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepares journal entries and assists in the monthly and annual financial closes. Responsibilities include account analysis and budget analysis.
2. Works with Chief Financial Officer to develop and approve financial statements, including balance sheets, profit/loss statements and analysis of variances in accounts, ratios, and income/expense.
3. Reviews and prepares monthly financial statements for presentation to Chief Financial Officer and executive review.
4. Assists with the financial audit or review for the company.
5. Assists with upper management monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
6. All other projects, goals, issues surrounding accounting, conflicts, or concerns as directed or indicted by Administration.
EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years accounting experience.
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Daily use of computer.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment. Occasional evening or weekend work.
