Texas Virtual Schools is a dynamic and rapidly growing Texas- based virtual company in an emerging space of innovation in education. Our passion is to change education forever for the K-12 students we serve. We are the only virtual school offering synchronous live instruction, whole child support, and personal profiles to support an individualized approach. Our guarantee is to engage, excite, exceed and ensure each student is college, career and life ready.
Job: Human Resources Director
Philosophy of Organization
Our philosophy includes a framework and processes that will provide students with the foundation to be college, career, and military ready. We believe in educating the whole child by helping students discover their strengths and providing opportunities to maximize their development both individually and collaboratively. By design, students will be encouraged to collaborate, think critically and discover their potential to creatively solve the complex problems they face.
We attract parents of K-12 students, unhappy with their local school options, or needing an at-home/flexible learning environment. Today’s world requires students to engage in a healthy culture where students feel safe to express themselves while appreciating other people’s viewpoints and experiences. In a world that requires students to contribute in multiple ways, communication and connectivity skills are essential for a student to meet their potential and demonstrate their abilities to compete innovatively. Texas Virtual Schools will go beyond the traditional school curriculum goals to measure both content and application of learning in authentic ways.
We foster a creative, respectful and collaborative culture that puts kids first, works smart, and goes the extra mile. At TXVS, customer service is part of everyone’s job!
