Manage the areas of Employment, Compensation, Performance Management, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS System, Environmental Health & Safety and Training. Accomplish any and all work assignments as directed by Management.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Administer the Exempt & Non-exempt Associates Performance Management Programs.
· Develop & maintain compensation programs.
· Develop and oversee benefits to ensure competitive benefits programs and effective customer service.
· Oversee the efforts of the Senior HR Generalist to ensure accurate payroll processing and adherence to State and Federal wage laws.
· Responsible for all phases of the employment process as it relates to Human Resources, (ie development and maintenance of hiring, orientation, promotion, performance management, exit interviews programs, job descriptions, etc.)
· Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Associate Handbooks (salaried/hourly).
· Responsible for special projects as required.
· Handle Associate/discipline issues
· Oversee day to day operations of the Department.
· Develop and oversee Worker’s Compensation
· Coordinate and oversee the environmental, health & safety training programs and reporting.
· Investigate injury/illness and assist with solutions.
· Responsible for both KYOSHA & OSHA administration and documentation compliance.
· Monitor, analyze and report training measureable data
· Process grant and other support systems to reduce training costs.
· Assist in training, coaching and promoting training objectives to Facilitators and Team Leaders
Basic Education, Experience and Training Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
· Excellent organizational skills; solid written and oral communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
· Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources or related field.
· Good leadership & supervision skills.
