The Archdiocese of Baltimore Hiring for Teacher, Grade 2 Job at Towson, MD Full Time

Immaculate Heart of Mary School located in Baltimore County, Maryland is seeking a full time grade 2 teacher. The teacher will be responsible for a self-contained classroom and be responsible for all core subjects including Religion.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide grade appropriate instructional program within the content of the Archdiocesan Curriculum in all subject areas
• Develop, document and implement weekly lessons utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge and engage students
• Establish reasonable standards for student achievement, updating PowerSchool grade book weekly
• Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times and for classroom management
• Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional empathetic and timely manner

Qualifications:

• Degree in Elementary Education
• Current MSDE certification, or willingness to achieve
• Must be an active practicing Catholic fully able to participate in Parish life.
• Must be comfortable with technology to include G Suite for Education (including Google Classroom), Smartboards, Chromebooks
• Must have a commitment to Catholic School education. Experience preferred.
