St. John Catholic School, located in Westminster, Maryland has an opening for a middle school math teacher to join our team. St. John School is a parish, Catholic school for students in grades PreK-3 through 8th grade.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, document and deliver lessons consistent with national standards and grade level curriculum
- Utilize instructional techniques that motivate, challenge and engage students of diverse abilities
- Actively supervise students at all times
- Respond to all parent communication is a timely manner
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff and administration
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Elementary or Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics
- Current MSDE certification preferred
- Experience teaching on the middle school level preferred
- Experience teaching in a Catholic school setting preferred
