WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) within BCG’s Global Advantage (GA) Practice Area (PA) you will execute and coordinate business operational support for GA tasks both regionally and globally. Working with PA Manager and Practice Area Leadership, you will coordinate GA operational activities such as meeting organization, budgets / business reporting and marketing and communication efforts. You will also coordinate people affiliation and development activities as well as the organization and execution of internal practice meetings and trainings whilst acting as a point of contact for GA members across the PA.
As a Practice Area Coordinator (PAC) within BCG’s Global Advantage (GA) Practice Area (PA) you will execute and coordinate business operational support for GA tasks both regionally and globally. Working with PA Manager and Practice Area Leadership, you will coordinate GA operational activities such as meeting organization, budgets / business reporting and marketing and communication efforts. You will also coordinate people affiliation and development activities as well as the organization and execution of internal practice meetings and trainings whilst acting as a point of contact for GA members across the PA.
You will independently coordinate the plan and preparation of PA meetings, seeking guidance as needed, from invitation management through to agenda coordination, tracking and logistical support as well as expense and budget management meetings. You will also support global people related initiatives and effectively advise GA leadership on affiliation recruiting, retention, and pipeline planning. You will create and implement programs designed to increase internal awareness of the practice to drive greater affiliation. .You will support annual, monthly and ad-hoc business reporting tasks, including budgeting, financial analysis and financial controlling. You will help to implement selected global initiatives with GPMD and GA leadership.

- Developing judgement, starting to contribute beyond the PA, thinking analytically through alternatives
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- 2-4+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated independence and autonomy in internal/external interactions
- Ability to execute defined tasks that require independent judgment, based on processes/policies
- Ability to effectively coordinate day today work; apply working knowledge of primary function and demonstrating the ability to solve problems within own role
- Strong organizational and planning skills – high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think analytically, adopting out the box thinking
- Professional, service oriented, pro-active and flexible attitude, Able to tolerate ambiguity and transform ideas into workable solutions
- Ability to perform under pressure and demonstrate presence and maturity even in stressful situations
- Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will coordinate closely with Regional PA Leaders, the Global Practice Management Director, sector/topic Managers as well as the Business Services team, alongside Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.
