Automotive Fixed Operations Director
We are looking for an experienced Director of Fixed Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of our service department. You will be the one to ensure that our service department is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct all aspects of department management of the Parts, Service, and logistics functions
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the service department to ensure smooth progress
• Create and implement dealership service and pricing policies
• Ensure that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on repair orders and communicating frequently with the service staff
• Effectively communicating with the General Manager and ownership on a daily basis to review daily, weekly, and monthly revenue forecasts and cash flow projections
• Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction
• Be familiar with changes in the auto industry and competitors practices, as well as changing industry standards and laws
• Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation
• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
• Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

Skills

• Proven experience as Automotive Director of Fixed Operations or equivalent position
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Outstanding communication and people skills
• Knowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelines
• Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. DMS, CRM)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
