Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources and Talent Management, the Human Resource Generalist will direct day-to-day functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, administering benefits and leave requests, and enforcing company policies and practices.
The position also formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The successful candidate will work mainly at one our subsidiaries office located in Moorestown, NJ with an option to work one (1) day remotely. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to visit our Matawan, NJ subsidiary location approximately 3 days per month. Car allowance/mileage reimbursement will also be provided.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
· Assists in complex employee relations issues (e.g., EEOC, ADA, DOL, ADA, FMLA/CFRA, Safety/OSHA, etc.).
· Works with insurers and legal department in the administration/resolution of Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, and other legal claims.
· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
· Partners with Operations to deliver Monthly Safety Meetings to site managers.
· Manages COVID-19 policies, recordkeeping, training, and compliance.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
· A minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience expected.
· Prior experience resolving complex employee relations issues across multi-state and multi-sites desired.
· Solid knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, safety, payroll, and Federal and State respective employment laws.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
