Job Title: HR Representative
Location: Houston, TX
Type of Role: Contract (12 months)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Global Edge is an award-winning recruitment agency connecting projects worldwide with the industry’s most talented project professionals. Our team is currently looking for an HR Representative. The HR Representative performs a variety of personnel support activities utilizing Fieldglass as a VMS tool; shortlists applicants, coordinates with various staffing agencies; monitors existing personnel; coordinates release notification with agencies and hiring managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Create job posting templates & work orders, assist hiring managers with the creation of job postings & work orders
- Scheduling interviews for hiring managers via Fieldglass and placing calendar invite on managers Outlook calendar within proper time zones.
- Reviews the processing of personnel requests or actions to ensure conformance to policy
- Provides information or data for the development of a personnel program, policy, or procedure
- Monitors existing personnel and ensure assignment extensions are processed as needed
- Collects, assembles, and analyses data or information for personnel reports
- Review job posting templates for accuracy, ensure rates are calculated correctly
- Maintain group mailbox, label, and file emails as they are actioned.
- Knowledge of organizational structure, personnel policies, and procedures.
- Experience in a Personnel discipline (Benefits, Compensation, EEO, Employment, Training & Development, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- High volume, fast paced environment.
