The Hope Group Hiring for Teacher for an RTC Job at Cedar City, UT Full Time

Havenwood Academy is a residential treatment center (similar to a group home) located in Cedar City. We work with teen girls who have extensive trauma in their history, girls who are trying to heal then go home to their parents. We are looking for 1 full time teacher to join our academic team in our accredited school. Wage is based on experience and education level.

• We are looking for someone with knowledge in course work grades 7-12, but all teaching experience a plus.
• Applicants must be organized with excellent communication and writing skills, with an ability to teach high school and middle school students and work closely with a team.
• Applicants must be able to work with students with disabilities.
• Experience with at-risk youth a plus but not required.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree, an SPED license a plus.

• Because we are a troubled youth facility, our teachers receive training in de-escalation and first aid.
• Applicants must have a TB test done after they are hired and provide information for a back-ground check.
