NOLA Campus Human Resource Manager
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager, Organizational Effectiveness works with the NOLA HR team to deploy cross-campus people related systems. This role is responsible for not only the execution of systems, but also ensure that systems are renewed, and streamlined to meet the needs of the business. This role will also be the HR team’s project manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Campus Recruiting & Staffing
Execution of hourly staffing processes (owner of system – includes hourly interview, testing & selection process).
Responsible for posting of hourly positions.
Intern program owner
Cross Campus HR System Support
Manages HR /OC system ownership list & DMS Process – ensures that owners understand responsibilities, ensures systems are renewed, and ensures calibration across the site
Manages HR analytics: turnover/attrition, overtime, attendance
Responsible for full system ownership & execution of key campus systems (includes Hourly Recruiting, Leave Management, Pay & Progression, Hourly Performance Management – (probationary period, work and development plans)
HR Project Manager / Communications
Manages HR-related projects that span across the NOLA Campus (plant driven & Corporate driven)
Leadership Development
Works with Campus HR Manager to drive leadership development initiatives across the Campus
Builds organizational capabilities and eliminates losses using SQMS methodology
Roles model our Basic Beliefs, Our Commitment to Each Other, and Emotional Intelligence to build resonant leadership
SELECTION CRITERIA
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree is required; an HR degree or Related Major is preferred
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is desired
Experience
At least 5 years of HR functional experience is required (e.g., employee and labor relations, staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, employee data); preferably in a generalist role
Experience working at a manufacturing site preferred
Experience leading and mentoring a team and helping to foster/create a “great place to work”
Experience delivering and improving HR plant processes to maximize efficiency & deliver quality services
Experience successfully managing multiple priorities & projects through successful delivery & implementation under time, budget, and political pressure
Experience working, monitoring, and interacting with third-party vendors
Other
Solid understanding of the Company HR Operating Model, HR Processes and HR Systems
Solid understanding of SQMS and HPO principles, systems and tools
Ability to influence others, identify problems, and recommend a course of action
Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements
Ability to excel in a team-based environment, demonstrating customer service, teamwork, and leadership
Experience helping to work through conflict to reach a successful resolution
Readiness to work with team members to ensure coverage for customers
Demonstrate ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
Must be willing to travel at least 10% and be available after hours/weekends
