We are looking for a graphic designer/production artist to join our creative team. Candidate will influence all consumer facing design initiatives such as packaging, advertising and marketing communication. This is an excellent career opportunity for a hands-on, highly motivated creative designer who wants ownership of the design development process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design artwork for packaging, instruction manuals, display graphics, POP, trade shows, and
more.
• Make required revisions to designs based on feedback in a timely manner.
• Research and develop packaging and product designs.
• Packaging die-line creation and/or modification.
• Ensure that all layouts are error-free and include proper imagery, product descriptions,
logos, legal lines, and copy prior to sending to factory.
• Preflight and package your own artwork.
• Ability to simultaneously work on a variety of projects with shifting deadlines while staying
in constant contact with manager to ensure key due dates are hit.
• Flexibility to change direction on projects mid-way through.
• Aid in preparing product presentations, marketing support materials, and social media
content for Sales Team based on market trends.
• Stay on top of current trends in packaging, toys, games, entertainment and pop culture.
Desired Experience:
• Strong graphic design skills with emphasis on packaging.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop).
• Working knowledge of Windows and Office.
• Team player and strategic thinker with an open mind to innovation.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and administrative skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage
multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Ability to work independently and/or with a team and prioritize several projects at once.
• Working knowledge of printing processes (4 color, spot colors, mechanical preparation,
paper stock, and file formats).
• BA or BS degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 3+ years of design experience
