We are looking for a senior graphic designer to join our creative team. Candidate will influence all consumer facing design initiatives such as packaging, advertising and marketing communication. This is an excellent career opportunity for a hands-on, highly motivated creative designer who wants ownership of the design development process.
Responsibilities:
• Packaging Design – establish innovative packaging design systems (graphics and structure)
• Work collaboratively to establish and implement strategies across toy lines
• Manage day-to-day development of packaging
• Packaging dieline creation and/or modification
• Be adaptable and vigilant to keep projects on schedule
• Aid in preparing product presentations for Sales Team based on market trends.
Desired Experience:
• Strong graphic design skills with emphasis on packaging
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
• Working knowledge of Windows and Office
• Team player and strategic thinker with an open mind to innovation
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and administrative skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Ability to work independently and/or with a team and prioritize several projects at once.
• Working knowledge of printing processes (4 color, spot colors, mechanical preparation, paper stock, and file formats)
• BA or BS degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 3+ years of package design experience
