How you will make an impact:As the Wiley Sales Operations Lead, you will:
Be the go-to resource for our sales and marketing tech stack.
You will oversee the existing CRM, SharePoint, and data administration system, and also advise the team on how to improve workflows and data quality.
Assist the sales team with the client contract, billing, and invoicing processes and work with Accounting, Finance, Contracts, and other teams across Wiley to ensure processes run smoothly.
Improve the data accessibility and actionability between the sales and client success teams.
Manage website maintenance and email automation.
Gather market and competitor insights that are actionable.
Develop and maintain onboarding and sales training materials to drive continuous learning across the sales organization.
Be a data champion.
You will be endlessly fascinated by the stories that data can tell, and present ideas and insights in clear, data-driven ways – designing dashboards and performing ad hoc analyses; always ensuring the data feeds are accurate and relevant for marketing, sales, and client success teams.
Spread the (data) love – you will train new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization. You will help define, document, and model CRM data hygiene conventions for the business. You will also ensure we use the right tools for the right job, and get smart on tools like (HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and Chorus, among others).
Provide reporting and insights on productivity, pipeline, daily activities, compensation, and key benchmarks.
Drive client retention efforts through exceptional client and learning partner data management and actionable insights.
What we’re looking for:
3-5 years of Sales Operations experience in an Enterprise sales organization
Salesforce Advanced Certification (required)
3-5 years of experience in Salesforce administration/development
Hands-on experience integrating and implementing various sales/service tools and systems, including Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.
Project management skills and experience driving programs independently
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Ability to frame business questions with data, translate business needs into strategies, and execute tactics and process improvements
Proficiency in analyzing, setting priorities, and solving complex problems effectively, with demonstrated ability to define and set up new processes
Ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence
Has a high degree of technical proficiency, a collaborative attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit
