What You’ll Do:
Be the liaison between Finance and the Events, Amenities, and Community Engagement Teams to ensure that as a service organization, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of accountability as the fiduciary of finance funds while we build the work experience that makes us the employer of choice.
Be the strategic procurement lead supporting the Events & Amenities team by being the main point of contact for all inquiries relating to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, deliveries, and payments, provide customer service to all business partners to quickly answer and resolve any issues that may arise including processing purchase requisitions, monitoring the life of purchase orders, tracking and reconciling received invoices with the delivery of goods and services and where applicable, ensure they are correctly and accurately processed and cleared for payment.
Prepare and track operating and project budgets for community outreach programs such as the company Festivals, hyper-local community events, the mobile food truck, amenity programs such as the coffee concepts, restaurant concepts, new fitness centers, and Event programs such as the RTO efforts and ambassador programs.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy and lead projects to deliver improvements in productivity and operating costs associated with delivering operations.
Work with the business leads to prepare and track the budgets of major service operations, program operations, planning & optimization projects.
Build and foster partnerships with both E&A managers and vendor counterparts to effectively report operations and project costs throughout the budget year.
5-10 years financial experience background: accruals, months-end financial close budget skills.
5-10 years Demonstrated Operations experience – BMO experience
Experience working with in-house operations sides of the business; facilities, transportations, etc.
Demonstrated business partnership experience, very team-oriented,
Tech-Savvy, our systems may change from time to time.
Experience in a fast-paced role working with vendors.
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Menlo Park, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.
