Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Event Operations Manager for a contract basis to join their Creative team – an internal, multi-disciplinary team of creatives.
What You’ll Do:
Operations
Own and champion strong operational mindedness across all Events globally.
Develop and execute high-performing Event pilots alongside Event cross-functional leads, After each Event, iterate & expand tactics & levers with a focus on greater impact and scalability.
Enhance the foundational series of playbooks, guidelines, and roadmap for template / scalable assets.
Detail-oriented development of operational elements with cross-functional leads.
Maintain timelines and deadlines associated with this development.
Update at least quarterly based on the latest findings and results. As needed, provide global training
In partnership with Event cross-functional leads, Business Operations, and Data Science translate Event results and findings into actionable insights to enable key business decisions for Hosting leadership.
Communicate findings and key metrics to leadership and influence teams to act on these findings and consistently achieve OKRs (objectives and key results).
Collaborate closely with Data Science and Business Operations to build scalable processes & technology to easily track, report & strategically engage with Events and/or Event organizers. Implement a 3rd party technology or firm to support.
Collaborate closely with the program management on the creation of plans, schedules, budgets, logistics (including on-location), resources, assets, and other Event relevant production needs.
As the event team moves out of pilots to more mature event operations, lead on the ground event operations and activation in partnership with other teams (i.e. Experiential Creative Product).
Ensure smooth delivery, consistency, and follow-through of contract deliverables and obligations.
Strategy
Define long and short-term Events strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams, and company ambitions to set and shape Events roadmap.
Articulate clear and compelling strategic narratives and build internal partnerships to translate those narratives to execution.
Support the Global Event cross-functional leaders in developing compelling end-to-end Event hypotheses, including supporting KPIs (key performance indicators) and data points for measurement, leveraging data and consumer insight research.
Support the development of an Event organizer (i.e. organizing committees, teams, leagues, agencies) partnerships framework for evaluation, Event execution, and ongoing relationship management (eg. when, how, types of partnerships, etc.).
Develop clear and compelling engagement models (with corresponding tactics, levers, and operations) for a diverse set of Event stakeholders (guests, hosts, cities, and event organizers).
Design and execute pilots to test model hypotheses to drive learning and impact.
Must Haves:
8+ years of experience.
External event operations/management experience is a plus.

Talent for structured thinking and business case development.
Proven track record of managing large-scale complex strategic, operational, and technical operations for global enterprises and/or incubation businesses.
Ownership mindset with a strong ability to navigate ambiguity and drive forward growth projects.
Strong team player with the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage internal and external teams and responsibilities simultaneously.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be passionate about clients.
Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree
Hours & Location:
Standard M-F, 40 hours/week. This role is 100% Remote.
