Overview:
The React JS Developer will join a team of 100+ purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest leadership honor society in the United States, with over 700 chapters and more than 1.5 million members.
Our organization is looking for a React JS Developer who can utilize Javascript Frameworks, HTML and CSS to develop effective user interfaces on the company website and services. The successful candidate will work closely with our web development and software design teams to update the website and internal web tools to make them more efficient.
Responsibilities:
Hand code HTML/CSS, Javascript
Participate on the creation of the frontend tech stack for the organization
Work directly with team members, across departments, to build Web applications from the ground up
Ongoing development, maintenance and updating of The National Society of Leadership and Success website (www.nsls.org)
Implement responsible web design principles to ensure that our company website renders well across multiple devices
Review app and feature coding and plan future website upgrades with the development team
Assist in the development of applications and features that will be put on the website and in internal functions as well
Responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability
