Software Developer (Scala/Akka)
Description

Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver a high quality end product that is usable, performant, maintainable and secure.
- Work closely with Pathfinder Group’s business leadership to understand business requirements and translate them into the working features.
- Collaborate with the support team to provide resolution for complex customer production issues.
- Be a flexible, forward-thinking team player.
Skills and Qualifications
- A university degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of industry experience working experience in developer role.
- Experience building reactive applications with Scala..
- Experience with Event Sourcing is a plus.
- Full stack perspective and breadth of view.
- Testing and automation mindset.
- Good understanding of Cloud based deployments (Azure, AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Docker is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
