Position Summary / Career Interest:
Responsible for accurate and timely action on accounts as it relates to specific responsibilities. Complies with governmental and managed care rules and regulations. Meet department goals as well as productivity and quality standards. Attends and actively participates in training and education.

Responsible for functions within assigned Patient Financial Services (PFS) department. PFS departments/teams include:

• Payment Posting/Credits & Refunds
• Insurance follow up
• Provider Enrollment
• Revenue Integrity

Responsibilities:

• Assists with various organizational activities and preparation of statistical reports as directed
• Coordinates and oversees office and supply management for department/unit operation
• Coordinates and oversees unit environmental and safety management
• Coordinates and oversses special projects as requested by leadership team
• Coordinates meetings and electronically conference calls and takes minutes for meetings as requested
• Demonstrates competencies in computer programs such as: Microsoft Office Word, – Excel and PowerPoint, email, intra/internet programs
• Maintains employee files, confidential paperwork and KRONOS
• Monitors expiration/due date for department/unit staff such as, but not limited to: licensures, performance appraisals, TB testing, certifications and attendance
• On behalf of supervisor(s), signs his/her name to correspondence, requisitions, vouchers and other forms as delegated
• Receives and screens all correspondence, determining appropriate action

• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
