Objective:
This position assists our Sales and Marketing team in their ongoing success and is a great introduction and path to event management. You will work with a great team of experienced, fun loving hospitality professionals, reporting to The Sales Manager.

Primary Area of Responsibility

– Focus on the guest.

– Professional written and verbal communication with clients, suppliers, and colleagues

– Assist with winning wedding, event and leisure business from enquiry to payment, with site inspections, winery tours, accommodation and spa reservations, VIP room set up etc.

– Contributes and collaborates in meetings.

– Assist in the administration of our growing Wine Club program

– Coordinate monthly reports to senior managers.

– Printing BEO’s & floor plans

– Entering inquiries into CaterEase

– Planning small group events

– Processing hotel reservations and room blocks

– Setting up amenities for clients

– Scheduling tours and appointments

– Small event reservations

– Assisting with tours when needed

– Organization of SOP’s, ETC.

– Assisting with occasional festivals and marketing event

Must haves:

– Positive guest and staff focused attitude.

– A love of providing exceptional service.

– Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

– Exhibit excellent observation and listening skills with a strong attention to detail and follow up

– Maintain excellent time management and organizational skills

– Ability work in a fast-paced environment, handle stress and give supportive and constructive

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 per year
