The Weiss School is looking for an experienced first-grade teacher to facilitate gifted students’ learning. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who enjoys working with elementary-age children and who can inspire student learning. The candidate should be able to create innovative lesson plans, work flexibly and cooperatively with a partner teacher, and be knowledgeable in working with exceptionally exceptional gifted children.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in elementary education
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Current Florida Teaching Certificate
- Florida gifted endorsement
Requirements: Clear level two background check with FDLE and DCF; Valid FL driver’s license.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $48,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
