Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Learning and Development Specialist with exceptional facilitation skills to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and facilitating learning programs that align with our organizational goals and contribute to the professional growth of our employees. Position Location: This role can be based out of any of the Fortune Brand Innovation facilities following a hybrid work schedule. Our Hybrid work schedule provides associates the flexibility to work remote Monday and Friday while being in office Tues. – Thursday

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

What you will be doing

• Conduct dynamic and effective training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning experience.
• Adapt facilitation style to meet the diverse learning preferences and needs of participants.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in learning technologies and incorporate relevant tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Support Learning & Development initiatives, such as 7 Habits, TrueLeader, BEST, and Extraordinary Coach through session coordination, logistics, and facilitation.
• Design and create engaging, interactive, and outcome-driven learning materials.
• Co-create learning and development solutions based on needs analysis.
• Create and implement a plan to help improve utilization and impact of existing tools such as LinkedIn Learning and partnership with Case Western.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of Learning Development page on our employee intranet site (Front Door) which includes marketing, branding, course descriptions and event registration.
• Implement evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations.
• Designs best practices for onboarding programs to support People Services.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of learning and development, HR, and/or talent experience
• Proven experience as a Learning and Development Specialist or in a similar role.
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Understands adult learning principles and training methodologies.

• Ability to travel overnight to other Fortune Brands Innovations facilities, likely less than 10% of time
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• DDI and/or Franklin Covey facilitator certifications
• Experience in LinkedIn Learning Admin role
