What You’ll Do: As the Human Resources Generalist, you will partner with the Senior People Manager to support the human capital strategy for TRSS, ensuring alignment with business objectives, growth plans, and the long-term strategic vision of the organization. In addition to cultivating strong relationships with our leaders as a strategic business partner, you will help lead the human capital strategy in a variety of ways, including:
Providing strategic direction for the continued development of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices
Managing the learning and development program while facilitating and supporting custom development training based on employee and business needs
Proactively identifying opportunities to further strengthen and build diverse teams to support growth within the organization
Partnering with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide insight on ways TRSS can continue to share their brand as a Washington Top Workplace
Managing onboarding initiatives to ensure talent transition into the organization successfully
Advising employees and managers regarding employee relations while partnering with the Senior People Manager to find resolution
About You:
You’re a good fit for the role of Human Resources Generalist if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human resources, business, or a related field
Minimum 4 years in a Human Resources profession, or prior military experience equivalent, with increasing levels of responsibility
Passion for strategy and creativity
Ability to plan, organize, and adapt in a fast-paced working environment while managing different priorities
Exemplify the TRSS values of Care, Character, Collaboration, and Trust
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
Experience with, and knowledge of, Thomson Reuters Special Services’ culture, processes, and systems preferred
