Overview:
Work with an amazing Accounting Team while you assist in keeping accounting books and records. Assists in daily audits of revenue and expenses
Essential Functions:
Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s “Winning Attitude” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
Assist with the departmental interface with appropriate internal and external departments, agencies and companies.
Receive, balance, collect, verify and/or input property related accounting data as required. Prepare daily cash flow.
Ensure supporting documentation is provided as required. Handle any exceptional matters according to policy.
Assists with the accounts receivable function and account reconciliations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
Has achieved or is pursuing advanced degree (Associates or above), emphasis in Business Administration or Accounting. Equivalent experience in Accounting will be considered.
Ability to work with all levels of property management in resolving financial issues.
Ability to learn, understand, and follow (GAAP) accounting standards.
Ability to utilize advanced Excel spreadsheets and JD Edwards general ledger system.
