Overview:
Work with an amazing Accounting Team while you assist in keeping accounting books and records. Assists in daily audits of revenue and expenses
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Thunder Valley Casino’s “Winning Attitude” Company-wide culture and demonstrating Thunder Valley Casino’s AAA Four Diamond Service Standards at all times.
- Assist with the departmental interface with appropriate internal and external departments, agencies and companies.
- Receive, balance, collect, verify and/or input property related accounting data as required. Prepare daily cash flow.
- Ensure supporting documentation is provided as required. Handle any exceptional matters according to policy.
- Assists with the accounts receivable function and account reconciliations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- Has achieved or is pursuing advanced degree (Associates or above), emphasis in Business Administration or Accounting. Equivalent experience in Accounting will be considered.
- Ability to work with all levels of property management in resolving financial issues.
- Ability to learn, understand, and follow (GAAP) accounting standards.
- Ability to utilize advanced Excel spreadsheets and JD Edwards general ledger system.
