User Privacy is TikTok’s top priority. At Privacy Product team, you will work on user facing features protecting user’s privacy without hurting their user experiences. At Frontend team, we leverage state of the art web technology to deliver dynamic features in mobile app without sacrificing performance. We also own mission critical internal platforms which is lifeline of our business.

Responsibility

As a Tech Lead in the team, you will:

• Support product area with frontend team.
• Provide technical support for engineers in team.
• Align with product and org objectives, coordinate with cross functional teams on delivering key results.
• Define long term technical roadmap for the team.
• Drive technical initiatives from execution toward delivery.
• Provide career guidance to engineers in the team.
• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience in architecting and implementing modern, large scale, consumer-facing web application.
• 1+ years on managing or 3+ years on tech-leading a software engineering team.
• Experience of driving collaboration across cross functional teams on delivering shared goal.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience in privacy engineering, security engineering, or implementing privacy features and solutions.
• Ability to communicate across disciplines (e.g. engineering, legal, policy).
