Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Payroll 40%: Monitor and audit time entries, PTO, and Time Off Requests in preparation of payroll. Process bi-weekly payroll. Run all related payroll reports needed for HR and other departments, including audit reports. Issue manual checks as needed. Run monthly management reports. Transmit deductions. Provide verbal and written employment verifications on current and past employees. Enter new hires, transfers, terminations, status changes, and run audits to ensure accuracy for all changes. Run and distribute reports.
Recruiting 15-20%: Recruit for open positions through internal job board, staffing agencies, and external recruiters. Prescreen resumes and interview Candidates by phone when required. Schedule interviews and Caliper Profiles. Review results with Caliper and hiring manager. Perform background checks and drug testing. Approve invoices. Maintain and update job descriptions.
Benefits 10-15%: Coordinate benefits through EASE. Provide timely answers to employee regarding their benefits and help resolve problems. Interface with broker and third-party FSA administrator. Track employees’ benefits and process monthly invoices. Administer annual Open Enrollment process. Work with EASE or other third party to status changes for new employees, dependent additions, and ensure terminated employees are removed from active employee insurance. Assist HR Manager with Leave administration.
New Hires & Termination 15%: Provide secondary support for new hire orientation for new employees and process paperwork. Coordinate termination process, exit interviews, collection of company property, explanation of COBRA, and cancellation of benefits. Schedule and track trainings.
Office Admin/Other 15%: Assist with admin/office duties to support the business; may include mail activities, supply management, activity planning. Manage company Verizon account; issue/track related property. Coordinate office file management/storage. Distribute monthly birthday and company anniversary announcements. Coordinate anniversary awards.
