Applicants should have strong leadership and supervisory skills. An HR Director, or Director of Human Resources , is responsible for overseeing HR management and department operations to adhere to organizational policies and procedures. HR DIRECTOR QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have a bachelor’s degree, relevant fields of study include human resources or business management.
- Must have supervisory experience in a long-term care setting as an HR Director .
- Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team, as well as help foster a team atmosphere with the staff
- Must be able to teach and lead by example
- Liaisons with residents, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for resident needs
- Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the facility
