PURPOSE

The LCL Pricing Analyst will serve as a liaison for the Sales and Product teams for situational pricing with prospective and current clients. The individual will help to establish tactical pricing processes and procedures and will interact with sales, products, operations, trade managers, and overseas stations during the deal development.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with Global & America’s Ocean team to ensure Pricing is in line with Products Goals
• Use pricing tools to assist with quoting
• Examples include but are not limited to excel spreadsheets, internal Sharepoint pages, CargoSphere, IMS/ITG trucking websites, Ocean carrier websites, etc
• Reach out to origin and destination LCL teams (within the USA as well as Toll and Agent offices outside for the USA) for pricing/service needs
• Work within Excel spread sheets and SharePoint sites for quoting and management/record keeping
• Pricing/Quoting understanding
• Attention to detail/Quality focused
• Able to work independently and with team members
• Identify, develop, and report upon metrics, analytics and insights into deal performance to improve profitability, speed, and efficiency of quotes.
• Review and analyze deal structure, profitability, and economic analysis
• Deliver professionally prepared price quotations for customers in support of Sales efforts
• Highly visible role – requiring regular updates to TGF senior product and sales leaders
• Analyze competitive pricing information for best price response
• Work with other internal teams for post-award maintenance of pricing
• Administer and distribute new pricing tariffs and respond to inquiries
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB

Technical

• High school diploma or equivalent; Continued education in business related filed (Economics, Finance, Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum of Five (5) plus years’ related experience in the freight forwarding service industry
• 2 years of LCL pricing experience
• Windows Operating System
• Strong MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
