Job description :
The objective of a Transportation Coordinator is to assign carriers to transport all equipment orders
- Receive inventory units in DBS
- Schedule(service scheduler) PDI for inventory units
- Schedule (service scheduler ) preparation of machines to be freighted
- Manage freight at Storage Facilities
- Arrange freight for Cat equipment & loose attachment moves not part of CAT managed freight
- Arrange freight and retrieve quotes on new machines not part of CAT managed freight
- Arrange freight Used moves P to P and international
- Issue PO’s for transportation
- Manage payment of invoices
- Assist Sales team for machine preparation (what to install or tear down for transportation)
- Inform our Sales team of travel restrictions, weight restrictions
- Insure proper information regarding shipping to various ports, cut–off, providing Lifting & Tying down procedures etc…

Job Qualifications :
- Post-Secondary Education or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in a sales support culture
- Must be fluently bilingual in English and French
- Logistics, Customs and Heavy Equipment knowledge would be an asset
- Safety conscious, self-directed and a team-player with high integrity and initiative
- Exceptional attention to detail and hands on with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with effective time management and planning capabilities
- Adaptable to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities in a deadline driven, fast paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (ie Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other customer based systems
