Overview:The full-time Project Coordinator will be responsible for the daily operations of the BHWET grant program will lead intern recruitment work in collaboration with the various departmental fieldwork coordinators to manage the logistics of the BHWET interns fieldwork and be the regular contact with the partnering field placement sites. The Project Coordinator will plan inter-professional events and work with Touros Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to develop and help provide professional development for faculty and field supervisors and assist in coordinating IPE teaching sessions within the three departments.Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the logistics of the BHWET programOversee interns fieldwork and be the regular contact with field placement sitesVisit each site monthly overseeing the interns fieldwork observing students meeting and maintaining communication with field supervisors regarding student performance and providing professional mentoring in the field and virtually through email and phone.Plan IPE events including handling all event logistics scheduling and make outreach to guest speakers including leadership and staff at partner sites.Work with agencies to develop job openings and a formal referral and interview process for interns post-graduation.Work closely with the Finance Department at Touro to ensure a smooth and efficient fiscal operation of the BHWET interns stipend.Manage process of obtaining student letters of agreementInform students about the HRSA Health Workforce Connector through individual advisement and email and assist students in creating personal profiles and consulting the website on a regular and frequent basis.Lead the development and submission of required mid-year and end of year reports.Lead focus groups of BHWET interns in May of each year to debrief about the programQualifications:DegreesGraduate degree in social work clinical mental health counseling or occupational therapyExperienceStaff or student supervision experience 3-5 years preferredProgram and grant management and reporting experience preferredExperience working with inter-professional interdisciplinary teamsSkilsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWell organized and effective time managementAbility to work independently and with a teamAbility to travel to internship sites on a regular basisKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbility to maintain confidentialityAbility to operate standard office technology (copy/scan Zoom conference calling)
