Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Information & Digital Systems Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Developer/Architect.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide technical guidance for ensuring that Dealer Lending systems are aligning with IDS’ mFin architecture. This role will be vital as we remove legacy systems with new systems with mFin alignment.
Reporting to the Technical Product Owner, the person in this role will support the Information & Digital Systems department’s objective to create mFin aligned environments, that are supported by our Data Lake and document lake referred to as EDP2.0. In addition, these highly available environments will leverage API’s and have the highest degree of automation where applicable.
What you’ll be doing
Working with Developers and Vendor to ensure Dealer Lending Systems are mFin aligned
Documenting and capturing system configurations and architecture
Work with architecture groups and other factories to ensure technical requirements for systems
Advocating for mFin alignment within the factory and business partners/vendors
Be a technical resource for the team and champion factory items that are highly technical
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or relative discipline
Proven experience in DevOps
Technical documentation experience
Experience working with finance/banking, wholesale management, asset management, insurance, investment management, or relative legacy mainframe systems and/or experience with Java, .Net, or VB
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to senior management while collaborating, influencing, and persuading others within the team
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
Demonstrated and proven passion for Technology
Added bonus if you have
MIS (or higher) or similar discipline
Experience in automotive or automotive finance, banking/financial services, or fleet management industry
AWS or similar cloud certification
Agile scrum environment/experience
